Lee Brice is a rising country star with a very promising future. He has had a few hits of his own including "She Ain't Right" and "Happy Endings". I first heard and performed with Carolyn at the Danelectro’s jams when she was 16 and made up her own words to blues shuffles because she did not know any songs (!) Now she is a world-wide Texas treasure and we are blessed to have her angelic yet gutsy vocals on the BIG Album; CW is a uniquely powerful vocalist, multi-instrumental guitar stylist and force of nature. Brian and Brother Jack introduced me to slapback, Sun Records, Bill Monroe, and Les Paul Jr.s, all in one fell swoop; I have never been the same .
My bandmate for years, we traveled many thousands of miles and shared common loves of the Lord, Les Pauls, Martins and three part harmonies. A great vocalist, guitarist and writer, who taught me the value of hard work, discipline and the pursuit of excellence; not to mention, one real good man.
